The drilling fluid that is circulated through a borehole has to perform several critical funtions and in order for the fluid to perform these functions, the fluid must have certain properties. In this course you will learn about these functions and the important properties of a drilling fluid. You will also learn the key principles of design of a drilling fluid system as well as the use of foam in air flush drilling operations.
